Big Win Last Week for the Tar Heels

They beat number #9 ranked MSU, It was another sad night for the Spartans loosing for a third time in three years. For some reason the Tar Heels don't loose to the spatrans even with a young team they still get their wins. They are working their way back to the top in the rankings with that win.

Big loss against Unranked NC St.

What a big game on saturday for the Tar Heels. They were up at half by 10 points, thats when the NC St. decided to play football. The Tar Heels entered the fourth quater up by a 6 points when the wolfpacked scored and went up 28-27 with 4 mintues to play they attempted a 28 yard field goal, that didn't turn out so well it was blocked by the Wolfpack. The Tar Heels never got the ball back after that, and the wolfpack beat the ranked Tar Heels.

Don't forget about the football season.

The football season isn't over yet, there are still bowl games ahead. The Tar Heels ended the season with an 8-3 record in a hard ACC division. They played against three ranked teams some big teams that had been ranked at the begging of the season. They beat VT who was ranked #7 at the beginning of the year. they lost to Georgia
Tech who is a great team. They have one more game left in the season be for they are announced to a bowl game.

Tar Heels Basketball wins big agaisnt Gardner- Webb

The Tar Heels Beat Gardner-Webb 93-72, The Bull dogs were 3-0 coming into the game. They wanted to beat the top team in the nation, it didn't happen. The heels came of a upset lost and wanted to win big against the bulldogs. It happened with the help of the leading scorer Deon Thompson with 22 points, 1 steal, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Also he went 4 from 4 the free throw line which was big. The Tar Heels got a big win which will prepare them for their tough schedule that they will ender during the next month and half, while they play 5 top 25 teams.

New season new team

The Tar Heels are stacked with big divison games that need to be won in order to win the acc tourney, and try to get another NCAA Championship. they play Duke half way through the season and the last game of the season. The Tar Heels are a young team, they have to create good team work and establish team chemistry to win. they have already lost to syarcuse in Madison Garden, which was home field advatage for Syaracuse. They looked a little shaky but that was there first test and they lost but they fought till the end they never gave up. That will pay of later on in the season when their down late they can get some clutch shots and win the close ball games.

Harrison Barnes

What a great pick up by N.C. they got the best recruit in the nation. That was crazy that they got Harrison to commit, great decsion by the coaching staff. He's a great all around player, he was also thinking about going to Duke haha no chance at all "Dukey Smukey", and Iowa. He made the best descion to attend UNC we all hope that his senior year goes great so he is ready to join the Tar Heels crew.

N.C. V.S. Indiana hoosiers mens soccer

The Tar Heels take on the Indiana Hoosiers in the 3rd round in soccer. The Tar heels are the #5 seed playing the non ranked Hoosiers. Indiana has taken out some pretty good schools earlier in this tourney, the Tar heels have to come storming out of the gates to win this game. Predictions Tar Heels 2 Hoosiers 1.
